WHAT IS iBRICKO?

iBRICKO is a modular-block building system which permits to quickly build surfaces (walls as well as floors and ceilings) designed to contain technological systems and passive or active devices (IoT).

iBRICKO permits to quickly customise both the external appearance of the wall with designated "skins", and its internal distribution by adding devices (sockets, switches, thermostats, etc.) and connecting them easily through cables provided with connectors.

iBRICKO is a 100% Italian project covered by an international patent.

HOW TO INSTALL

1 - Put the empty blocks together according to the building you need to create and apply them to the rough walls or to the supporting structure. By interlocking the modules, one can easily create a wall, and thanks to the special pieces and the modular base blocks, such wall can be of all shapes and structures.

2 - Install the designated devices in the blocks. When necessary, connect them through the cables provided with connectors; otherwise, connect them in the traditional way.

3 – Apply the finishing panels (skins) according to your taste and style; it is easy and safe. If necessary, they can be quickly removed, so to change the design of the room or to inspect and integrate the installed system.

WHAT iBRICKO CAN DO

iBRICKO permits to build walls, partitions, modular furniture, cabins for shops and offices, open-space offices, temporary buildings, stands, and more. The advantage of a modular system like iBRICKO is its extraordinary flexibility. All you need is a few tools, no additional building material, glue, etc. Plus, it is a “clean” building system!

Once the blocks are positioned, they can contain all types of systems. One can rapidly lay the entire distribution and rapidly reposition the system in case of modifications to the functional distribution.

 

ITALIAN DESIGN

The iBRICKO block is aimed at creating interior design systems that are also focused on both appearance and materials. As a matter of fact, the technological aspects are integrated with design, thanks to the external panels (skins); such panels are available with fine finishing and can be customized both in shape and materials.

Of course, iBRICKO can be used in traditional plaster building systems, by using raw finishing panels and processing them with traditional techniques.

 

LAYING AND CONNECTION SPEED

iBRICKO modules permit the quick and customized laying of the internal distribution of a building (electricity, LAN, water) with the logic of home automation.  The components can be exchanged, dismantled or replaced.

The connections are easily made through connectors.

iBRICKO AND AUTOMATION

Once the internal walls are built with the iBRICKO system, they can be smartly and interactively managed.

The iBRICKO app permits the interaction with the finished wall. This will provide both technical support, since it will be possible to get information on every installed system through the Augmented Reality, and functional support, since it will be possible to interact and control all the devices using the smartphone as a remote control (IoT logics).

 

SUSTAINABILITY AND COMFORT

iBRICKO panels are made by paying attention to the right balance between natural and eco-friendly materials and technology.

As far as materials are concerned, we paid particular attention to the re-use and use of natural fibers, which also guarantee high levels of comfort (both acoustic and thermal).
